Effective July 8, 2018 GTFD#2 entered into a Shared Services Agreement with GTFD#4 to staff a fire engine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  This schedule will greatly benefit our residents with shorter response times for emergency calls and guaranteed staffing around the clock.***

CO Application & Info

*
As all inspections are conducted by our career firefighters, inspections are sometimes preempted by emergency calls for service. A two hour time frame will be given for your inspection appointment.  Should the crew be delayed due to an emergency call, every effort will be made for the crew to arrive at your property within that two hour time frame if at all possible.  While we strive to complete all of our appointments in a timely manner, our first priority will always be emergency services protection.

Vacant premises may be entered by our Inspectors providing a lock box code has been provided at the time of application and there are no personal belongings within the property.  Upon satisfactory completion of the inspection,  the Inspection Certificate will be presented to the representative of the property for the inspection.  Properties inspected under a lockbox will be notified by email if the property has passed or failed and the certificate will be emailed once the property passes inspection.  Should the property fail the inspection an inpsection notice will be provided noting the deficiencies and corrections necessary.  You will need to contact the Fire Prevention Office to Coordinate a re-inspection.

When completing the application, please ensure that your printing is clear and legible and indicate which phone number/email we should contact for the appointment or should we have any questions.
